You have understood how you held onto something (spiritually) dead. That in itself is the insight you need to break the connection. All you need to do is realize you have stagnated. The ghost will then disappear of its own accord

You have strayed far from your truth. You repress the pain and (unconsciously) prevent the wound from heal­ing. You urgently need to find someone close to you who can help you come to terms with your sadness (concerning a relationship). Time heals all wounds if you are prepared to cleanse them with tears.
