Freedom from the unknown

"One of the greatest thinkers of the age" is how the Dalai lama describes J. Krishnamutra.. Having immersed myself into this book I'm left wondering how anyone can attain such a life as is advocated by this writer ?

poem

Gentleness speaks his name
Kindness walks beside him
Sorrow touched his heart
And I in my folly did not
Tend as well I might
This gift of loving one
So touched by lovers plight..

Stars

How do I gaze again
Upon these stars that light
The heavens far above
Who incumbent
Do lay heavy watch upon me
For when eyes raised
And soul cries out
A silence does surround
The truth that speaks
Is silence truth
But i did not abide..

Quite your mind before you speak

There are some words
Best unsaid
But I in haste
Did not not speak
So now do feel the
Consequences of my folly.

The pain of unrequited love

Does not the sabre
Slice through flesh
Give pain its name in passing
The battle fought
Heart seeks defence
Tries to express
But bidden not
For conquering heart
Does not tarry
Interest lost, abandoned
Sabre sheathed
Hearts blood now spilt..

Ego again !!

I in ego thought
I could be loved in return
For love that I did give
But my love did attach
For reasons deep within
A doubt of worthiness
And so this doubt
This troubled soul
Did loose its hearts desire
To love and have hearts
Love returned..

A drink maybe

Loss, pain, hand shaking
Drink does not lessen
Resolve but where to find it
When the body is unable
To rectify this loss
Of hearts desire
